Submit your application
Fill in Haven's instructor application form with your personal details, professional background, and what you plan to teach. The application takes about 10 minutes. There is no fee to apply.
Haven reviews your application
Haven's instructor team reviews every application personally. Haven looks for real expertise, a clear teaching focus, and a genuine desire to share knowledge. Teaching experience is helpful but not required — if you know your subject deeply enough to teach it well, that is what matters.
You will receive a confirmation email immediately after submitting.
Set up your instructor profile
Once approved you will be invited to complete your instructor profile from your Haven dashboard. Your profile is your public identity on Haven Academy — it shows students who you are, what you teach, and why they should learn from you.
Create your first course
Haven's course builder gives you everything you need to structure, record, and publish a professional course. You upload your content — video lessons, text lessons, quizzes, downloads, and assignments — and Haven's platform handles the rest.
Haven reviews your course
Before your course goes live Haven's team reviews it for quality, accuracy, and clarity. Haven checks that the content matches the course description, that the audio and video quality meet Haven's standards, and that the course delivers real value to students.

Students enrol and you earn
Your course is live on Haven Academy. Students find it through search, category pages, and Haven's recommendation engine. Every time a student enrols you earn 70% of the sale price. Haven takes 30% to cover platform costs, payment processing, and marketing.

Instructors who consistently publish quality content and engage with their students build a passive income stream that grows month over month. Haven gives you the analytics to understand what is working and what to do next.

Bank withdrawal
Withdraw your wallet balance to your bank account at any time. Nigerian instructors receive Naira transfers. International instructors receive transfers in their local currency.
Withdrawal processing
Withdrawal requests are processed within 3 to 5 business days. Minimum withdrawal amount is $10 or the local currency equivalent.
Refund policy
If a student requests a refund within Haven's refund window the corresponding amount is deducted from your wallet balance. Refund rates are visible in your dashboard.
Questions about teaching on Haven.
Do I need formal teaching qualifications to apply?
No. Haven does not require formal teaching qualifications. What matters is that you have deep expertise in your subject and the ability to communicate it clearly. If you can teach it well Haven wants you on the platform.
How much can I charge for my course?
You set your own course price. Haven does not dictate pricing. Most courses on Haven Academy are priced between $10 and $199 depending on depth, length, and subject matter. Haven recommends researching comparable courses before setting your price.
Can I teach on Haven and other platforms at the same time?
Yes. Haven does not require exclusivity. You can publish the same course or different courses on other platforms simultaneously. Your content belongs to you.
What video quality does Haven require?
Haven requires a minimum of 720p resolution for video lessons. 1080p is recommended. Audio quality matters as much as video — clear audio without background noise is essential. Haven's course quality checklist in the teaching resources section covers this in detail.
How long does it take to get my first course approved?
Haven reviews courses within 3 to 5 business days of submission. If changes are needed Haven gives you specific feedback. Most courses are approved on the first submission when the instructor has followed Haven's course creation guidelines.
What happens if I want to remove a course?
You can unpublish or delete a course from your instructor dashboard at any time. Students who have already enrolled retain access to their purchased content. Haven does not hold your content hostage.
Does Haven market my course for me?
Haven promotes courses across the platform through search, category pages, the recommendation engine, and Haven's email newsletter. Haven cannot guarantee any specific number of enrolments — marketing support is provided but results depend on course quality, pricing, and demand for the subject.
