1. Overview
When Haven completes work for a client, Haven may wish to include that work in its portfolio to showcase its capabilities to potential clients. This policy explains Haven's default position on portfolio rights and how clients can request confidentiality.
2. Haven's Default Portfolio Right
Unless otherwise agreed, Haven reserves the right to:
- Include completed client work in Haven's portfolio on its website
- Reference the client's name and the nature of the project in case studies
- Use screenshots or examples of completed work in Haven's marketing materials
- Share portfolio work on Haven's social media channels
3. Requesting Confidentiality
Clients who do not want their work included in Haven's portfolio must state this in writing before work commences or in the project's Statement of Work. Haven will honour all confidentiality requests and will not include the client's work in its portfolio without explicit written permission.
4. Attribution
When Haven includes client work in its portfolio, Haven will attribute the work appropriately. Clients may request that Haven does not mention their name in portfolio materials, in which case Haven may describe the work without attribution.
