1. Overview

Haven International Limited takes the security of its platform and user data seriously. This policy explains the technical and organisational measures Haven has in place to protect the platform, and what users can do to protect their own accounts.

2. Haven's Security Measures

• Encryption: All data transmitted between your browser and Haven's servers is encrypted using HTTPS/TLS
• Access controls: Haven limits access to user data to authorised personnel only, on a need-to-know basis
• Password security: User passwords are hashed and salted and are never stored in plain text
• Regular security testing: Haven conducts regular security assessments of its platform
• Payment security: Haven does not store card details. All payment data is handled by Paystack and Stripe, both of which are PCI DSS compliant
• Monitoring: Haven monitors its platform for suspicious activity and potential security incidents

3. User Responsibilities

Users can protect their Haven accounts by:

• Using a strong, unique password for their Haven account
• Not sharing account credentials with others
• Logging out of Haven when using shared or public devices
• Not clicking suspicious links in emails claiming to be from Haven
• Reporting suspicious activity on their account immediately to Haven

4. Reporting Security Issues

If you discover a security vulnerability in Haven's platform, please report it responsibly via the Bug Bounty and Responsible Disclosure Policy. Do not publicly disclose security vulnerabilities before Haven has had a reasonable opportunity to address them.

5. Data Breach Response

In the event of a security incident affecting user data, Haven will notify affected users within 72 hours as described in the Privacy Policy. Haven will investigate all security incidents promptly and take appropriate steps to contain, remediate, and prevent recurrence.
