1. Overview

A Statement of Work (SOW) is a document that defines the scope, deliverables, timeline, and terms of a specific client project. Haven uses SOWs for all significant client engagements to ensure both parties have a clear, agreed understanding of what will be delivered.

2. What a Statement of Work Covers

A Haven SOW typically includes:

• Project objectives and background
• Scope of work — what Haven will deliver and what is excluded
• Deliverables — specific outputs with descriptions
• Timeline — milestones and delivery dates
• Revision rounds included
• Client responsibilities — what the client needs to provide
• Payment terms and schedule
• Acceptance criteria — how deliverables will be reviewed and approved

3. How the SOW Process Works

For client projects:

• The client submits a project brief to Haven
• Haven reviews the brief and prepares a SOW within 3-5 business days
• The client reviews and approves the SOW (or requests amendments)
• Once both parties agree on the SOW, work commences
• Any changes to scope after SOW approval require a written change order

4. Scope Changes

Any changes to the agreed scope of work after the SOW has been signed must be agreed in writing by both parties. Haven will provide a revised SOW or change order document for significant scope changes. Additional scope may result in additional charges and revised timelines.

5. Governing Terms

All SOWs are governed by Haven's Terms of Service, Client Agreement, and Service Level Agreement. In the event of conflict between the SOW and these general terms, the SOW takes precedence for the specific project it covers.
